A Globally Recognised Qualification.

Royal Master’s Montessori Centre holds full accreditation from the Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (MACTE) for its Early Childhood Diploma Programme, recognising the programme’s adherence to rigorous international standards in Montessori teacher education.

What is MACTE?

The Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (MACTE) is an internationally recognised accrediting body for Montessori teacher education programmes. Based in the United States, MACTE is recognised by the U.S. Department of Education as a specialised accreditor.

Accreditation is not a permanent title but an ongoing process of accountability. It signifies that a training centre has voluntarily submitted to a rigorous process of self-study, independent review, and on-site evaluation to ensure that its programme meets established standards in Montessori teacher education.

The Professional Value

Global Portability

In an increasingly mobile world, educators benefit from qualifications that are widely recognised. A MACTE-accredited Diploma is respected by Montessori schools and organisations across North America, Europe, Asia, and beyond.

Curriculum Integrity

Accreditation confirms that our curriculum covers the full scope of the Montessori method, including child development theory, philosophy, and the full range of Montessori materials, without omission or dilution.

External Accountability

Accreditation places a training centre within a framework of external review and accountability. At Royal Master’s Montessori Centre, our programme is evaluated against internationally recognised standards, ensuring that our training maintains both academic rigour and practical integrity.

MACTE Competencies

MACTE-accredited programmes prepare adult learners to demonstrate competency in three key areas: Content Knowledge, Pedagogical Knowledge, and Practice. These domains define the knowledge, skills, and professional responsibilities expected of a Montessori educator.
